Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Edappadi K Palanisamy met journalists at the Coimbatore airport and said, "We consider the by-election victory a historical success. DMK coalition leaders won the parliamentary and legislative elections through false promises. Now since people know the truth, the AIADMK alliance has won."

"We continue to implement the welfare schemes of the AIADMK regime and have received many awards through a series of activities. Tamil Nadu is the best state for law and order and our state is the best place to do business. Due to the conducive environment in Tamil Nadu, in the recent Industrial Investor Conference 304, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed that is worth 3 lakhs and 431 crores of rupees. Tamil Nadu is the pioneer state in India to accomplish this feat," added the TN Chief Minister.

"DMK leader, Stalin's false promises in Nanguneri did not resonate with the people. People realized that Stalin made promises that could not be fulfilled. People have sounded a warning to DMK leader Stalin to refrain from making false promises for winning elections," opined Edappadii K Palanisamy

He added that the State Election Commission would decide on the local election process and that the coalition will continue in the local elections. The CM also urged the public to take more efforts in preventing dengue mosquitoes from breeding in their homes and to utilize Government Hospitals appropriately.

Edappadi K Palanisamy expressed his gratitude to people and the coalition parties who helped AIADMK win in Vikravandi and Nanguneri constituencies.
